For the weekend of 5, 6 September 2026, the Raglan Arts Centre cinema at The Old School, 5 Stewart St, has four movies screening.
First up on Saturday afternoon 5th September August at 3.30, KIRI & LOU GO RAAA!, is screening. The first screening of this was a full house so it would be a good idea to book. Then on Saturday early evening, new release STORIES ABOUT MY BODY is on at 5.30pm.
And on Sunday afternoon at 3.15pm, is another children’s movie LUCA on at 3.15pm. This is followed by PRIMAVERA is on at 5.15pm.
The Wainui Road end (CHURCH) of Stewart St may still be closed to cars as the work is taking longer than expected. If it is you can still drive to the movies, but you’ll need to go via Gilmour St or Norrie Ave to get to the Arts Centre on Stewart St.

In a tiny theatre in Aotearoa, New Zealand, four teenage stagehands work tirelessly to help Morgana tell the stories that shaped her – from her own teenagehood in 1998, to working foot-fetish parties in New York City, to falling in love and later birthing her babies in a Melbourne living room.
