Raglan to Auckland City and Auckland Airport

To travel from Raglan to Auckland by bus you can either end up at either Auckland Airport or Auckland Downtown (Hobson St). Although several bus services operate on these routes, only one or two operate at the right time to connect with Raglan to Hamilton buses. The place to change from a Raglan bus to an Auckland bus is at the Hamilton Bus Terminal, on the corner of Anglesea and Bryce Streets, in Central Hamilton. You then take the next bus to Auckland. The times of interconnecting services are shown below, correct as at 25th July 2019:

Raglan to Auckland City

Leaving Raglan north of i-SITE in Wainui Road (7am service) or outside of library in Bow Street (other services) and ending at the Auckland Sky City Terminal, Hobson Street on western side of the Sky City casino.

Monday to Friday

International at Bus Stop 2008, Main International Terminal bus stop, Ray Emery Drive.

Other bus companies operating on the Hamilton to Auckland  are Aerolink Shuttles and Skip which is a budget bus company. They all leave from the Hamilton Bus Terminal, Anglesea St, Hamilton where you need to change of the Raglan route 23 bus.

Although it would be possible to use other public transportation between Hamilton and Auckland it is not recommended. Train services do operate on this route, but the Hamilton rail station is located a few kilometres away from the Hamilton bus terminal. There are also flights from Hamilton to Auckland, but the air terminal is located south of Hamilton and would require a shuttle trip from the city bus terminal to Hamilton airport.

Raglan to Hamilton bus services

A daily bus service (Route 23) operates from Raglan to Hamilton Bus Terminal. It runs four times a day Monday to Friday and twice a day on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.  During school terms an additional bus service known as the school assist runs leaving Raglan at 6.55am, arriving at Hamilton Boy’s High School at 8.25am.

To travel from Raglan to Hamilton you can leave from a number of bus stops around Raglan including the main one outside the Raglan Library.  The main place to change from a Raglan bus to other Hamilton suburban buses is at the Hamilton Bus Terminal, on the corner of Anglesea and Bryce Streets, in Central Hamilton.

The dotted light blue line is a summer service when the bus starts from and ends up at Manu Bay. The dark blue line is serviced once a day by a double decker bus.
