The Visual Feelings art exhibition by Raglan Artist, Gaenor Hunter, opened last night at the Old School Arts Centre in Stewart St, Raglan. It features quintessential Kiwiana with an emphasis on Raglan Whaingaroa.
Gaenor says, “I capture the beauty we see in New Zealand and translate it into each painting”. She says she uses a style of her own to capture the essence of the senses evoked in the presence of beauty.” She then enhances aspects of the subjects that inspire her work. Feel the emotions in each piece of art, as you browse through the gallery.

Opening night refreshments were sponsored by Raglan Four Square and Orca Restaurant.
The exhibition is open everyday from 10am to 5pm until the 15th January in the community gallery, Raglan Old School Arts Centre in Stewart St.

Congratulations Gaenor, it looks as though it went off well. I only wish that I could visit your exhibition.
