Waikato District Council funding available for Raglan

Council funding available in 2017

If you have a project or an event and are seeking financial assistance, there are a number of funding opportunities available from Council to help make it happen.

  • Waikato District Council Discretionary Grants Fund is available for projects and events happening in Huntly, Taupiri, Raglan, Tuakau, Ngaruawahia and the rural wards of the Waikato district.
  • Creative Communities Scheme Fund is available for arts based projects and events happening in Huntly, Taupiri, Raglan,Tuakau, Ngaruawahia and the rural wards of the Waikato district.
  • Waikato District Community Wellbeing Trust Fund is available for capital projects throughout the Waikato district.
  • Heritage Assistance Fund is available for heritage listed items in the Waikato district.
  • Heritage Project Fund is available for heritage projects happening in Huntly, Taupiri, Raglan, Tuakau, Ngaruawahia and the rural wards of the Waikato district.

Applications need to demonstrate broad community support and benefit the wider community.

The application must be made on the prescribed form. Please note: we have updated the application form relating to these funds.  If you have any old forms please do not use these when making future applications to the funds.

We advise before proceeding with an application that you discuss your proposal with Council’s Community Development Advisor to ensure the request for the project/event meets the eligibility requirements for funding.
