Council replaces Raglan’s missing Covid sign-in QR posters – perhaps work in progress

Waikato District Council news

Raglan 23 update at 3.30pm on19th October – Our investigator found no QR Covid sign in posters in the Puriri Street, Raglan toilets.

What caused  the Cliff St toilets in Raglan to be a Covid location of interest for a seven-day period?

The Ministry of Health is the agency that identifies/deals with locations of interest.

Has Council now undertaken a deep clean of the toilets?

The toilets are chemically cleaned every day, which satisfies the cleaning requirements.

Other councils such as TCDC and Hamilton City have QR codes on each toilet block. Why has Waikato District Council not done this?

Waikato District Council has done this. As was done in the first lockdown, at the beginning of this lockdown QR codes were put up in all public toilets in the Waikato District.

We suspect these are sometimes taken down by members of the public. We have run a check in Raglan and replaced the QR codes that were missing.
