Project summary
The purpose of the work is to widen the existing carriageway to approximately 5.5m, provide improved sightlines and improve the geometric alignment where required, of six separate sections of unsealed road with a combined total length of approximately 10.24 km.
Project description
Works include earthworks, preparation of pavement, supply, carting and spreading of aggregate, trimming to shape and compaction, wth associated drainage improvements and service relocations.
The Contract, valued at $457,703.80, has been awarded to HEB Construction Ltd, and works are expected to be complete by 3 September 2010.
