Karioi Restoration in Raglan are carrying out ecological monitoring and pest control on Karioi, the dominant volcano, also known as the sleeping lady. The project is a colloborative effort between Te Whakaoranga o Karioi Inc Society and A Rocha Aotearoa NZ, together with Whaingaroa hapu, the Department of Conservation, and other interested community groups and individuals.c/o 51 Cliff St, Raglan.
