WDC has announced that the Manu Bay boardwalk has reopened. The boardwalk was closed on 7 April, while the council replaced the boardwalk and associated structures, which had significantly deteriorated due to age and environmental exposure.
Waikato District Council is now pleased to advise that the Manu Bay boardwalk is open to the public once again, following work to replace the boardwalk, stairs and associated structures. A council spokesperson said, that they know how much the Raglan community values the boardwalk, and thanks them for their patience while we carried out this much-needed work.
