A special invitation to all women’s teams to compete in the womens 24km W6 race where the first women’s team to cross the line is awarded the Chrissy Herbert Memorial Trophy. Chrissy was a top NZ steerswoman who fell ill and later passed away while competing in Raglan in 2001. We have a great turn out every year to honour Chrissy and we thank her family, her paddling friends and all wahine paddlers for supporting the race.
