Three in a row for Clint

It started with being deputy chair of Wintec, next he was made deputy Mayor for the Waikato District and now he has been voted in as Deputy Chair of Trust Waikato.   So now Raglan’s Councillor, Clint Baddeley has three ‘deputies’  to his name.

Clint has been a trustee for Trust Waikato since June 2004.  He has a background as a maintenance tradesman and spent thirteen years as a senior advocate for the Engineers Union. In that time he was actively involved in the promotion of apprentices within the Engineering trades.  He worked closely with Tainui in the Guardians of the river establishment committee and is now the Government appointee on that body.
He is standing for Mayor of Waikato District in this year’s local body elections so with a bit of luck his deputy roles will go down to two, later this year.
