DISCOVER RAGLAN
This tourism brand is now a part of the Raglan Chamber of Commerce. New Board member Charlie Young brings his enthusiasm and knowledge of tourism to lead a sub-committee that will promote Raglan, networking and linking to tourism enterprises.
To show its commitment to tourism, the Chamber has invested in a one page advertisement promoting Raglan as a tourist destination. The advert will appear in the Hamilton and Waikato Regional Visitor Guide for the upcoming year. With 100,000 copies in circulation we believe that Raglan business will gain positive benefits.
CHANGES TO THE BOARD
At a recent meeting of Chamber’s Board it welcomed three new Board Members, Charlie Young, Colin Hodkinson and Geoff Kelly. The Chamber said that three people bring a wide range of skills to the Board. Alan Vink has stood down from the Board, due to recent ill-health and other community and work responsibilities. The Board thanked Alan for all his work over the last two plus years in getting the Chamber established.
The new Chairperson is Stephanie Philp who is a founding member. Jamie Bruce is the new Vice-Chairperson.
