He bought an Isuzu pickup and won an ATV. Ian Dillon, a builder from Raglan, today will be handed a brand new Honda TRX680 ATV, first prize in a nationwide contest run by Isuzu since it launched its D-Max range of pickups two months ago.
Ian entered the contest when he bought a double-cab D-Max from Bayswater Isuzu in Hastings.
“The D-Max is perfect for Ian’s needs, it combines his work vehicle with family needs,” said the New Car Sales Manager of Bayswater Isuzu, Spencer Pallesen.
“He has a special kit for his work tools in the wellside, and we are confident the Isuzu will give years of faithful service.”
Winners of other prizes, including special packs of tough outdoor wear from Swazi, official clothing supplier to Isuzu D-Max, have already been notified.
Isuzu says it’s delighted with recognition and interest in the D-Max range, two months after its launch at Fieldays.
“Sales are well ahead of where we projected at this point and at times we are hurrying to keep up,” explained the Greg MacDonald, General Manager.
“As we extend the spread of dealerships the length of the nation, the New Zealand ownership and operation of the entire network is resonating with many people.
“That adds to their recognition and trust in the Isuzu brand and its vehicles.” The D-Max is all about toughness. It is renowned for its strength, reliability and build quality, with remarkable fuel efficiency. It’s a tough yet stylish workhorse, trusted by Kiwi farmers, tradespeople and weekend warriors.
