Petchell Park in Wainui Road, Raglan has been without a public toilet since early November. That was when Livingston construction sealed off the old toilet block with a security fence as a prelude to demolishing it. The old toilets were located on the new musuem site. The old toilets were frequently used bu visitors being on the main route to Raglan’s beaches and with hnady car park available.
Waikato District Council has now begun work on a twin portaloo connected to water and waste services. When the Raglan Website checked the new toilet block on Saturday 18th, both the doors of both cubicles were firmly locked.
