The Times reports mystery cat deaths recorded in the Rakaunui Rd area off Wainui Rd, south west of Raglan. Local resident Julia Hill found her cat dead and frozen in a rubbish bag. She says that it was the sixth cat to disappear from her Raglan home. X-rays and tests at the Raglan vet clinic were unable to determine the cause of death. The Raglan veterinary clinic has kept a record of missing cats from the area. In the past 12 months they have recorded 15 missing cats from the Rakaunui Rd area, which has only around 20 houses.
