It was full house at the Old School on Saturday night enjoying Whaingaroa acoustic music. Fans, friends and whanau turned out for the release of Rene Andre’s CD Pseudo Moon. The audience enjoyed the laid-back music including the Land of Obsidian from Andre and friends. The night saw songs from the 70s and 80s presented including Alizon.
Musicians on the CD include Rene Andre, Lynne Wilkins, Redgie Valente, Antonio Karam, Mike MacKinnon, Peter Caldwell, Greg Taylor and Hans Martin Passeur. It was recorded by Blabbering Tree Productions by Tom McCormick and features 13 tracks of original music by Rene Andre.
The gig was the final in the NZ Music Month series at the Old School Arts Centre held during May.
Rene Andre will be appearing at Vinnies Saturday 2 June warming up for Chris Thompson and Stan Jagger. No cover charge and and nice warm fire for sure. Good music, good food, Good Times!!!!
