Raglan West Store – to be closed for a while from Sunday 2nd June

Raglan West Store will close its doors at the end of business on Sunday 2nd June and stop trading. The reason for the closure is the ending of the lease for the premises. In an advertisement in the Raglan Chronicle, Dave and Gail- owners of the business, said, “That they regret the store’s closure but stress that the matter is out of their hands.” They added, “We would like to thank our customers for their support over the past 15 months.”

As a consequence of the closure, there will be a garage sale on-site on 5th June from 10am onwards of shop, accommodation and kitchen contents.

The owners of the Raglan West Store property are Corina and Tony Bruce. Tony said, “The tenants did not renew the lease for a further term… as per its terms and provisions and options available to them as tenants. I have several parties ready and willing to take it on …so nothing changes only the operator and how it is operated.”

So the Raglan West Store should have its doors open again soon with new operators.
