There are a large number of entries in this year’s Whaingaroa Hoe. Racing got underway this morning with the 8km W6 Novice/ Junior under the control of experienced steerers. A condition of entry is that teams need to be able to finish 8km within an hour.
Winds are very light and a smooth harbour. The weather is overcast but reasonably warm.
