Contractor Base Civil speeded up and completed the next stage of their work in Bow Street ahead of target. The raised crossings on the Town Hall side were completed on Thursday allowing Bow St to be fully open for traffic on Friday and over the weekend.
The contractors will now move onto the final two crossings on the Harbour View Hotel side of the Bow St. This next phase of the work will take place from 2 August 2010 to 8 August 2010. Special vehicle access will be available to the Four Square car park during this period, with only the section of Bow Street from Bow Street Motors to the Westpac closed during the week.
