Seven days after Telecom Wholesale disrupted broadband service in Raglan, the last few people without service are having their service restored progressively. Telecom implemented an upgrade on Monday 13th December which disrupted service for many Raglan residents and businesses. In some case the disruption was temporary while in other cases it has lasted over a week.
Chorus moved the Arts Centre broadband connection back to the old technology ASAM port on Sunday afternoon. That got them working on a temporary basis. Chorus checked the link was working on Monday morning with their old modem. Xnet confirmed that the connection is working at the slower ADSL1 speeds. it is undertsood that Telecom in the near future will be supplying a new modem to the Arts Centre as they have done for other people with problems.
Meanwhile the Raglan Website is aware of a few others in Raglan that are still without broadband service. Hopefully these people will get back online progressively.
