Raglan Community Board to beat to the tune of a different drum

With six nominations and six vacant positions, it seems likely that there won’t be a need for electors to vote for the nominees (Linda Cole, Bob MacLeod, Matt Holl, Jon Taylor, Boyd Turongo Dixon and Alan Vink). Although there are three returning members (Linda Cole, Bob MacLeod and Alan Vink), the new Board will be working to the beat of a different drum with two younger people (Jon Taylor and Boyd Turongo Dixon) on the Board. 

Jon Taylor is a popular local electrician for Stendy during the day and on Thursdays DJ Jet on Tractor FM  at 6pm running The Monkey Madness Show. Drummer Boyd Dixon is a founding member of Cornerstone Roots and often heard around town with many bands playing everything from reggae to jazz. So these two will have the Community Board beating to the tune of a different drum.

The new Board sees the return of stalwart Matt Holl. Past Chair Matt, says that he will be, “standing up to them”.
