The proposed Raglan Structure Plan refers to a Raglan CBD blueprint (Paragraphs 15B.4.3 e & 15B.5.3). The blueprint was produced last December by Kevin Brewer, a Newmarket based planner (Brewer Davidson). The above graphic is is one of the illustrations from that Raglan CBD Urban Design Framework showing the extent of Council’s concept for the extended CBD.
Note that the telephone exchange in Wainui Road has been replaced by what appears to be a two storey shopping block and the same building replaces the historic Vinnies restaurant.
A series of new two storey buildings are shown dotted around the CBD.
