About Raglan Website

Hi I’m Rodger Gallagher and I run the Raglan 23 website.  It is a mirror of my passion for Raglan and is named after the road to Raglan- State Highway 23.  It is a personal view of Raglan rather than the official or corporate perspectives provided by other Raglan websites. I create most of the content and I’m happy to publish contributions from Raglan people, organisations and businesses.  And to complete the picture I include selected media releases about Raglan.

“Great site…just love to see what’s happening in Raglan By The Sea” – RC

My aim is to provide a website about Raglan, New Zealand that covers local issues,  is interesting and current.   It also covers tourist information  and the local weather conditions from an online weather station and webcam. And there is a comprehensive events calendar covering just about everything that is on in the town. While I don’t expect that it will be a great money spinner, the web site will carry adverts and charge for enhanced listings to cover costs.

If you spot anything that needs fixing, an addition that is needed or you would like your event listed on the calendar then email me on info@raglan23.co.nz

If you want to advertise click this link to email me or phone on 825 7443.

  2. hi Rodger, sites really improved, i must admit, you cannot fit everything in to your day, and i just get enough time to visit sites or add to my twitter and facebook sites. we try and get the auctions on, but sometimes this is a strugle.
could u add wed for our breakfast meeting 14th april at zaragosa at 7.30am, maybe too late

    1. Hi Dave

Thanks for the feedback. Ultimately success of The Raglan Website will depend on the content ensuring people visit the site given that their work and lives is full of lots of other things. Visitor numbers have grown so much that we are now well placed against the legacy media.

Angela sends me the Raglan Chamber of Commerce items and the Zaragosa breakfast has been on the Events Calendar for a couple of weeks.

      Regards,

      Rodger

  3. Hi Rodger
I am wondering if I could use one of the photos from the site raglan.gen.nz/…/091231WharfFishingIMG_2081.jpg, for an interpretation sign I am making. Could you get in touch with me about this please with your contact details? Much obliged!
